Shahzad Arsi started WorkFree after running into the same wall many people hit when they think about leaving a job: plenty of motivational advice, almost no honest math. He wanted a place that answered the only question that actually decides the matter, can you afford it, with transparent tools and plain language rather than slogans or a sales funnel.
Today he sets the editorial direction for the site, builds and tests every calculator, and writes or reviews the guides to keep them accurate, specific, and current as costs and rules change. His focus is the practical mechanics of a job exit: runway and savings targets, the benefits and payouts that get overlooked, the timing of a resignation, and the differences that matter across the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and Ireland.
What he writes about
Financial readiness
Runway, savings targets, emergency funds, and the budget work that makes every other number honest.
Benefits and payouts
Health cover, retirement accounts, unused leave, and equity, the consequences that quietly cost people the most.
The exit itself
Timing, notice, the resignation conversation, and a clean professional handover.
Country differences
Where the rules genuinely change the plan across the Tier 1 countries WorkFree covers.
How he works
Every calculator runs published formulas you can read on the methodology page, and every guide carries a last-updated date and is revised as things change, under the editorial policy. Nothing on the site is personal financial advice; it is educational, and where the honest answer is "not yet," the content says so. Questions, corrections, and suggestions are always welcome through the contact page.
