Advertising disclosure
Last updated
WorkFree is free to use, and advertising is how we keep it that way. We want to be plain about how the site is funded and, more importantly, about what that funding does not buy.
How we make money
WorkFree displays advertising through Google AdSense. When ads are shown on a page, we may earn a small amount, which helps cover the cost of building and maintaining the calculators and guides and keeps everything free for you to use with no paywall and no signup.
Ads do not influence our content
Advertising never changes what we write or recommend. Our guidance is the same whether or not a page carries ads, and we will not tell you to quit, or not to quit, to suit an advertiser. Editorial decisions are kept separate from advertising, as set out in our editorial policy.
How the ads work
Ads are served by Google and its partners, not chosen by us individually. They may be personalised based on your prior browsing unless you opt out. You can control personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, and our cookie policy and privacy policy explain the data side in more detail.
Affiliate links
At the time of writing, WorkFree does not use affiliate links. If that changes, we will update this page and clearly label any affiliate relationship, so you always know when a link could earn us a commission. Even then, the rule above holds: it would never change our recommendation.
Questions
If anything about how the site is funded is unclear, ask us through the contact page. We are happy to explain.
